The new roof is on and is gorgeous!
Our fourth home in the McCaysville area is well under way. This is the first four bedroom home we’ve built and its coming along beautifully. If you have an interest in volunteering on the next stages of our build, please complete our Volunteer Form.

We ask the following:
- Come to the job site at 9:00 AM on build day. Get a name tag.
- Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty in, no open toe shoes.
- Bring work gloves and safety glasses, or we can provide.
- Attend an organizational chat and safety briefing.
- Get assigned to one of 3-4 crews, meet your crew-mates and crew leader.
- Work until about noon, break for lunch – a light lunch will be provided
- Continue working until about 2:30 or so and then start cleaning up and putting tools away.
- Bring your own tools if you prefer, or we will provide whatever you need.
If you have fun and want to continue, we’ll have plenty of workdays in the following weeks.
DIRECTIONS: From McCaysville – follow Tennessee Ave to Old Mobile Road. Take Right on Old Mobile Road to Number 20 Mine Road, take a right and head north approximately 1/3 mile, build site is on the left on Pace Ct. Watch for Habitat signs. Parking is limited! Please be cautious not to park on other homeowners yards.
